Personality:
Aine is a very shy pooka, much less of a trickster than many. With the early loss of both her parents, she became very withdrawn and quiet, wary of everyone. She seeks to regain confidence and happiness, though very strongly tends towards depression. She laughs rarely, and even in times of great joy she is slow to smile. Those who gain her trust can find an incredibly strong friend. However, she is quick to offense and takes criticism poorly. When upset, she tries to escape the situation if at all possible, and becomes quite sulky. She avoids violence whenever possible, though she can have quite a sharp tongue. She is extremely nervous about transforming into her animal forms if anyone is present, even other pookas, and is extremely skittish when in her transformed state. She avoids speaking while in her animal form if at all possible.

History:
Aine was born in the countryside near Toradh. Her mother, a golden eagle pooka, died in childbirth. Aine has her golden eyes, and she always wears golden feathers in honor of her.
Aine's father, an Irish draft horse pooka, moved with Aine to the Dublin area a few years after her mother's death, unable to bear the grief he felt in the area he had lived in with his wife for nearly a century. However, he could not find peace, went off on travels when Aine was still quite young - only fourteen years of age, leaving her in the care of a fallow deer pooka, Dermot, he had made friends with. He never returned.
Aine lived for several years with Dermot, learning much from the wise man. However, she was miserable living with a man so similar to her own dear father, so she set out on her own at the age of seventeen. For a few years, she traveled the country in search of her father, though she came to realize in time that her attempts were futile, particularly after encountering some of the disorder with WWII and the Easter Rising in 1916, when she was 20.
Disheartened, she sought to integrate herself into human society, though she was always terrified someone would find out her nature and frequently moved to avoid discovery. She became very wary of everyone, very rarely trusting any to a degree that she would consider them a "friend". For years she stayed in Ireland, though eventually she ventured to England and parts of Western Europe for short time periods. However, she always returned to her homeland, always drawn to a bit of a hope of seeing family once again.
Eventually, after many long years of wandering, Aine began to desire a new start - to find a life of her own without the endless traveling, perhaps to find true friend, work, a reason to smile and laugh again, and maybe even love. She recently returned to the Toradh area, where she became acquainted with, and eventually found a few friends in, others of her kind as well as humans, though she is still frequently nervous about how to behave around them.
She currently is employed at Jamison's barn, where she works with the horses in exchange for a room and enough money to buy food.

Other:
- Aine always has golden feathers incorporated in her attire. She usually wears a metal feather necklace in her human form, and typically has golden eagle feathers braided into her mane in her horse form.
- She is very proud of her long hair and keeps it in excellent condition. Typically she wears it down or in a very loose ponytail, usually decorating it with braids.
- She can run incredibly quickly and gracefully, even in her human form
- She is terrified of spiders, and she dislikes snakes. She is very unsettled by naga, though she is willing to interact with them in all but their snake forms and frequently finds their tales fascinating.
- She is extremely talented at working with horses, being able to communicate with them, though they are usually extremely wary of her until they become better acquainted
- She knows English, Irish Gaelic (largely gained form her years with Dermot, though practiced during her travels), and moderate levels of German (learned during her travels in Europe)
- She tends to dress in dark colors, particularly purples, reds, and greys
- She is naturally a very talented artist, particularly in working with precious metals to create jewelry, as well as an avid reader, though she has rarely had opportunity to participate much in either pursuit
- She will almost never speak while in her animal form, even if only other pookas are present, and rarely takes on her half-form at anything other than faerie gatherings
